From a very young age, I have always wanted to work with animals. I volunteered at the OSPCA for many years until I was able to do my high school co-op placement at Centennial Animal Hospital. At the age of 16, I was hired as a patient care attendant. After graduating high school, I joined the Registered Veterinary Technician program at Ridgetown College. Upon graduating in June 2002, I returned to Centennial Animal Hospital to work as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
My interests within the practice include dentistry, nursing care and client education (including gentle leader training). I also volunteer with a local rescue organization by offering my time for nail trim fundraisers and fostering cats.
I live in Bracebridge with my husband and our 3 children. We share our home with our dog, Nora, and have a variety of chickens.
Life is busy but full of lots of fun and laughter.
